Friends of JMRL

This year’s service project benefits Friends of Jefferson-Madison Regional Library.  Books have the power to connect communities. By donating books to Friends of JMRL at the Nursing Summit, you'll support their biannual book sale, which helps fund literacy programs for children and adults throughout our community, including Charlottesville and the surrounding counties. Together, we can create and support opportunities for learning, connection, and belonging across Central Virginia.

Please consider bringing the following items to the Nursing Summit event to donate to the Friends of JMRL:

Acceptable Donation Items

  • Books on all subjects, of all ages, for all ages, in a condition that will sell
  • DVDs, CDs, LPs, puzzles, games, sheet music and ephemera

Unacceptable Donation Items

  • No School or Public Library Discards!
  • Encyclopedias, audio or video tapes,  magazines, or textbooks
