Central Clinical Orientation 1/6/25

Welcome to UVA Health!

Thank you for your flexibility this weekend with the impending weather. While we would have preferred to host an in-person orientation session, we are grateful that we have the ability and resources to provide a virtual option to keep you home and safe.

Your responsibilities for Monday 1/6/25 are as follows:

1. Human Resources hosts a Zoom session Monday morning from 0830-1100 (perhaps extended if questions continue regarding benefits). Please watch this session. The link was provided in your Clearance for hire email from Human Resources. External Travelers do not need to be present. 
2. Obtain access to your technology accounts by following the information on the UVA HR New Hire Portal:  (Activate your account and UVA Health IT Digital Course)
3. Sign Access Management Platform (AMP) requests (if account claim process has been completed) Click link for steps 
4. Complete Workday Modules beginning with:
   1. Epic Assessment (for those who are experienced team members). DO NOT complete Epic modules until this assessment has been completed. 
   2. Pyxis module (this one is time sensitive to receive access prior to you first shift)
   3. Color Blind Module
   4. Epic Modules (must be completed prior to class)
   5. Suicide Prevention at UVA Health module
   6. All other modules as assigned. Complete by due date.

A decision has not been made about Tuesday morning Central Clinical Orientation. Please review the Nursing Center for Excellence Orientation website prior to driving in.
