Financial Support for Professional Board Certification

UVA University Medical Center provides several financial resources to support Nurses in achieving their professional board certification and to eliminate or minimize the cost to the team member. 

UVA HR Education Benefits Program– RNs may submit for reimbursement in advance of or following successful completion of their exam for eligible certifications and for recertification fees. Up to $500 is available each calendar year for eligible team members.  Email AskHR@virginia.edu for specific questions.

Pre-Pay Programs – UVA University Medical Center participates in multiple programs that allow for exam fees to be paid up front so the RN does not pay out of pocket.
