Formal Nurse Leader Mentorship Program

This 6-month mentorship program provides Assistant Nurse Managers and above with peer support as a UVA formal leader.  The content and focus aligns with AONL and Korn Ferry competencies for nurse leaders, as well as data from the employee engagement survey. Participants meet monthly as a mentee/mentor pair, as well as a full cohort ad hoc based on the cohort's interest.

Topics include: Strategic planning, team engagement, professional networking, leader resilience, and finance/budgets

Fall 2024: 

• Kick off meeting:  Monday, September 9, 2024, 1200-1300
• Wrap-up meeting: Thursday, February 10, 2025, 1200-1300

Spring 2025:

• Kick-off meeting: Monday, January 13, 1200-1300
• Wrap-up meeting: Monday: June 9, 1200-1300
