Identity Empowerment Mentorship Program

This 6-month program is designed to offer underrepresented nurses peer support to foster a sense of belonging, empowerment, and professional growth, aligning with UVA Health’s strategic goal of cultivating healthy communities and belonging.

Topics include: Building resilience and adaptability, creating a personal vision, identifying core values, valuing differences, and career navigation.

Program Dates:

Spring 2025

  • Kick off meeting:  Wednesday, January 8, 1200-1400
  • Check-in Meeting #1: Wednesday, March 12, 1200-1400
  • Check-in Meeting #2: Wednesday, May 21, 1130-1330
  • Wrap-up meeting: Wednesday, June 11, 1200-1300
